On Monday, The Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt announced his plan to repeal the Obama administration’s “Clean Power Plan.” The withdrawal of this plan is an important and necessary step in reversing Obama-era policies that were aimed at killing our coal industry. For too long, the clean power plan killed jobs and needlessly wasted hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars in a misguided attempt to prop up renewable energy by strangling our fossil fuel industry.
