Washington – Wyoming Congresswoman and House Republican Conference Chair Liz Cheney (R-WY) released a statement after joining President Trump at the White House today for the signing ceremony of the Abraham Accords, an agreement that normalizes relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, as well as the Kingdom of Bahrain:

“I was honored to be at the White House to mark this important moment, and I applaud President Trump, Prime Minister Netanyahu, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, and King Hamad Al Khalifa for coming together to sign a deal that increases pressure against our adversaries and provides a pathway for greater cooperation in the Middle East. This achievement proves the success of President Trump’s policy of standing with Israel and exerting maximum pressure against Iran, in contrast to the Obama-Biden Administration’s policy of turning its back on our allies and emboldening our enemies.”
