For Immediate Release
Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Liz Cheney (WY-AL) released the following statement after her vote in favor of a budget resolution which starts the process of repealing and replacing Obamacare:
“Obamacare has resulted in increased costs for patients, skyrocketing premiums, less consumer choice in healthcare, lower quality of care and lost jobs.  In Wyoming and all across the country, people need relief from the trainwreck of Obamacare.  I am proud that one of my first votes in Congress was to start the process to repeal and replace this failed system.  The people of Wyoming deserve healthcare that puts patients and their families in the driver’s seat.  Individuals, not government bureaucrats, should be in charge of their own healthcare decisions.  Today, we took the first important step in that direction.”
